If you really take a minute to think about what blogging is, its really quite a strange concept. It gives people, like myself, an open forum to broadcast our feelings and views on any topic imaginable, post it, and hope that people care enough to read it. These days anyone with a computer, camera and a little know how can instantly become a source of news; whether you're interested in fashion, sports, or just cool things out there. That said, I love stumbling across a random new blog and getting wrapped up in another persons beautifully laid out pictures and reading what they have to say. In reality, I no clue who they are, but find their interests fascinating and insightful to whats out there in this big 'ol world of ours.

I especially loved stumbling across the Decor8 blog- mainly because Colin and I are working on making our house a home these days. The blog showcases different designers, as well as photographers, from all over the world. The website inspires us all to decorate our homes beautifully with inspiration from brightly colored pictures shown throughout the pages. I really enjoyed the Swedish design section because of its use of simplicity and color. We have a very small and simple home which comes with a good opportunity to jazz it up with colored accessories and make it our own, I say this now only after reading the blog and of course, feeling particularly inspired.
